Well. According to groups such as the EPA and Greenpeace, Apple Laptops are some of the most environmentally friendly laptops in the world! Each Laptop contains features such as arsenic free glass, mercury free LED lighting, no PVCs and BFRs in their products, a first in the industry, and PVC free cables. The MacBook, MacBook Pro, IMac and all other Apple computers are rated as some of the greenest laptops available, with no PVCs in any models, no arsenic, no mercury and no BFRs. The company also has set a 70% global recycling goal for its company, which it succeeded in achieving and going above and beyond. The company sits at 4^th place out of 15 electronic companies in terms of being green, and jumped from 9^th to 4^th between 2010 and 2011.

Each computer also has the option of being recycled by Apple. Apple will take computers, phones, and many other devices from you, and inspect whether or not they can be reused or recycled. Apple uses a group known as WeRecycle to recycle all of it’s E-waste. According to recent surveys, more than 70% of apple’s product parts are reused or recycled, which is already a huge portion of each computer.
